장승백이 전통시장은 젓갈류 집산지로 유명한 소래포구와 인접해 있어 공기가 좋기로 유명하다. 이 환경 좋은 마을의 초입에 위치한 창대 시장은 만수 3 지구 내의 유일한 재래시장이다. 현대화 시설을 갖춘 시장이라 쾌적하고 깔끔한 인상을 준다. 식재료뿐만 아니라 의류와 신발, 장난감 등 갖가지 생활 잡화들을 구입할 수 있다. 인천 지하철 2호선 남동구청역과 가깝고 시장 입구에 버스 정류장이 있어 접근성 또한 좋다.
