안양시청 맞은 편에 위치한 안양을 대표하는 평촌중앙공원은 사계절 주제정원과 분수시설, 공공예술작품, 체육시설 및 편의시설 등이 조성된 도심 속 휴식공간이다. 연중 다채로운 행사축제가 열리는 이곳은 사시사철 시민들의 발걸음이 끊이지 않는데, 특히 사계절 주제정원으로 봄, 여름, 가을, 겨울 계절에 맞게 식재된 다양한 꽃과 나무로 아름답다. 여름에는 아이들이 무더위를 식히기 좋은 다양한 분수시설이 많은 사랑을 받고 있다. 4호선 범계역, 평촌역에서 도보 10분 이내의 거리에 위치하고 있다.
