About this place
인덕원은 과천과 안양, 의왕을 잇는 삼남대로의 요지로, 옛길에 관련된 옛 문헌에도 빠지지 않고 등장하는 곳이다. 일찍부터 교통의 요지였기 때문에 이곳을 찾는 사람이 많았고, 자연적으로 주막과 가게들도 많이 생겨났다. 현재도 인덕원 옛터를 알려주는 표석이 남아있어서 삼남길을 지나는 길손들을 반긴다. 인덕원을 지나 학의천을 따라가면 빼어난 경관을 자랑하는 백운호수와 만나게 된다.
