1983년 신곡동 입구에서 세류옻닭으로 오픈하여 2002년 현자리에 신축하여 이전하였다. 지리적으로는 지하철 1호선 세류역에서 300m 거리에 위치하고 있어 이용이 편리하다. 옻닭은 뚝배기로 1인분씩 제공되며 단일 메뉴로 전문성을 높였다. 강원도 원주산 참옻나무의 겉껍질만 건조해 장시간 우려내 닭과 함께 삶아 부드럽고 담백한 맛이 일품이다. 옻닭은 혈액순환을 도우며 위장건강에도 탁월한 효과가 있다.
