About this place
19세기 인천·안산의 유일한 우시장이었던 뱀내장이 폐시하고, 그 자리에 지금의 삼미시장이 들어섰다. 농산물, 육가공, 수산물, 청과, 기타 의류 등 다양한 품목을 판매한다. 삼미시장의 매력은 장을 보며 요기할 수 있는 간식거리가 많고, 시장 내 작은 포차거리가 형성되어 있어 비 오는 날이면 전과 막걸리를 운치 있게 즐길 수 있다는 것이다. 시장 주변으로 줄을 서 먹는 맛집도 많다. (출처 : 시흥시 문화관광)
