용인중앙공원은 다목적구장, 어린이놀이터, 향기원, 암석원, 맨발산책로, 자작나무길, 컬러풀정원, 수국산책로, 분수광장, 초화원 등의 공간으로 구성되어 있다. 가족 나들이, 산책, 운동 등 다양한 활동을 즐길 수 있으며, 도심 속에서 자연과 여유를 동시에 누릴 수 있는 공간이다. 용인중앙공원에는 일상에서 추모를 할 수 있는 현충탑도 마련되어 있다. 이곳의 충혼탑은 조국의 수로를 위해 순국하신 호국 영령의 넋을 추모하고 숭고한 희생정신을 후세에 길이 전하고자 건립하였다.
