토마스 에디슨에 대한 다양한 볼거리와 즐길 거리를 기존의 틀에 박힌 모습의 박물관과는 전혀 다른 문화공간인 신개념 박물관으로 탄생시켰다. 아이들은 물론 성인까지도 에디슨의 발명과 관련된 다양한 전시와 체험을 통해 유익한 과학 이야기를 체험할 수 있다. 광명에디슨뮤지엄은 광명역과 이케아 인근에 위치하여 접근이 용이하다.
