과천 국립현대미술관에서 청계산 자락 안쪽에 위치한 서울대공원캠핑장은 서울에서 가까운 곳에 위치하고 있다. 청계산 계곡과 울창한 산림 등 과천의 천혜의 자연속에서 야영 및 취사, 피크닉, 레크리에이션 등을 즐길 수 있는 최고의 힐링 스팟이다. 캠핑장은 1~4야영장으로 계단식으로 구성되어 있고 텐트가 설치되어 있기 때문에 별도로 장비를 준비하지 않아도 캠핑이 가능하고 샤워장, 운동장, 캠프파이어장, 매점 등이 있어서 편리한 야영을 즐길 수 있다.
