용인중앙시장은 오랜 기간 이어온 전통시장으로 용인시 처인구 중앙에 자리 잡고 있다. 경전철 운동장, 송담대역에서 가까워 접근이 용이하다. 용인의 전통 풍물과 지역 문화를 느낄 수 있으며, 떡골목, 순대골목, 잡화골목 등 특화골목이 형성되어 있다. 2002년부터 공영주차장, 아케이드, 도로 정비, 조형물 설치, 점포 이미지 개선 등의 시설 현대화 사업을 추진해 고객들에게 향상된 편의를 제공한다.
