양천구 목동에 위치한 큰절 법안정사는 한불 수교 100주년을 기념하여 1989년 서울 목동지구 아파트 단지 내 종교 부지에 건축된 현대식 도심 사찰이다. 도심 속에 위치해 있어 대중교통으로도 접근하기에 용이하다. 총 4층으로 구성되어 있으며, 현대식 사찰로 지어진 덕분에 흔히 보던 절과는 다르게 웅장함을 뽐내고 있다.
