부천시 원미구 도당동에 위치한 강남시장은 1981년 소규모의 강남상가 설립 이후 점차적으로 주변 점포수가 증가함에 따라 시장상인회를 조직하였다. 2006년에 인정 시장으로 승인받았다. 주변에 제조업 회사가 밀집되어 있어 외국인 거주자들도 많이 방문한다. 시장에서는 신선한 농산물, 수산물, 축산물 등을 구매할 수 있으며, 이외에도 생필품이나 잡화 등의 상품도 판매하고 있다. 시설 현대화로 쾌적한 환경에서 장을 볼 수 있다.
