과거 한강과 인접했던 옛 미군 장교숙소 5단지 부지는 조선시대 얼음을 저장했던 ‘서빙고’가 있던 곳으로 해방 후 미군부대가 이곳을 차지했으며 일대를 ‘캠프 서빙고’라 불렀다고 한다. 정부는 일부 시설 리모델링을 거쳐 1992년 일반인에게 처음 공개했다. 현재는 야외에 포토존이 다양하게 조성되어 있어 사람들에게 많은 인기를 끌고 있다. 들내 봄내 잔디마당, 빨간 테두리의 동그란 표지판, 두루두루 파빌리온 등에서 찍으면 색감 예쁜 인생 사진을 찍을 수 있다.
