풍미연은 7호선 노원역 1번 출구에서 가까운 상계2동 행정복지센터 인근에 있다. 음식점 외부는 언뜻 보면 붉은색 아치 건물로 중국음식점인 것 같지만 한식집이다. 풍미연 설렁탕은 진한 사골육수로 입소문 난 노원구의 맛집이다. 옛날 방식으로 큰 가마솥에 오래 끓여 손님이 오자마자 주문과 동시에 설렁탕이 나온다. 인근에 잘 정비된 중랑천이 있어 식사 전후 함께 둘러보기 좋다.
