원조양평해장국직영점은 지하철 3호선 6호선 연신내역 5번 출구 부근에 있다. 주차는 상가건물 앞에 할 수 있으나 협소하여 방문 시 대중교통을 이용하는 게 편리하다. 이곳은 일반 구옥 가정집을 개조해 식당으로 만들어서인지 매장 입구에서 보면 오래된 맛집 느낌이 물씬 풍긴다. 방송, TV 맛집 프로그램에 여러 차례 소개되었다. 대표 메뉴로 양평 해장국, 우거지탕, 내장탕, 우내탕(우거지+선지+내장)이 있다. 양평 해장국은 선지와 양, 콩나물에 고추기름을 넣고 뚝배기에 팔팔 끓는 채로 나온다. 주변에 서갈현공원, 대조공원, 갈마 어린이공원 등이 있어 식사 전후에 둘러보기 좋다.
