2000년대 신도시 개발로 인해 조성된 운암 단지는 주변에 아파트 주거 단지와 행정타운이 위치해 있다. 인근에 위치한 운암뜰 한식 거리는 오산시의 유일한 먹거리 단지로 해물탕, 갈비, 쌀밥 등 다양한 종류의 향토음식 전문점이 즐비해 있다. 매우 다양한 메뉴를 맛볼 수 있어서 가족끼리 외식을 하거나 단체 모임 또는 회식을 하기에도 적합하다.
