아현동 전 골목은 시장 역사에 비해 그다지 오래되지는 않았고 현재 문을 열고 있는 5곳 중 1990년대 초반에 문을 연 집이 가장 오래된 집이다. 역사는 짧지만 재래시장의 풍경 속에서 활기 넘치는 분위기를 만드는 전 골목은 없어서는 안 될 추억의 장소다. 또 가격도 저렴해서 모둠전과 막걸리를 둘이서 나눠 먹으면 배도 차고 기분도 좋아진다. 추억의 재래시장 풍경 속에서 현재의 자기 모습을 되돌아볼 수 있는 곳으로 많은 사람들이 찾고 있으며, 생계를 이어가고 있는 서민들의 생활사가 고스란히 역사가 되고 있는 곳이기도 하다.
